Matcha Love ~ Yes or No?

Hello everyone!!

I was wondering if also you have the "matcha fever"..I don't even know if that's a thing, but I have been noticing more and more how popular matcha is becoming. If you are among those who don't know what I'm talking about, you can get instructed through this LINK and wikipedia will magically answer all your questions.

Have you ever tried a "matcha Latte"? It's something looking like this:

You can find the recipe here from bon appetit

You'll need this for the Latte recipe.

It looks and sounds delicious, a creamy green tea... kind of like a mixture between a tea and a cappuccino! It's on my wish-list of new drinks to try.

My only experience with matcha is the KitKat candy bar!! I was so fortunate to have a friend traveling through Japan, I asked him to buy me one "green KitKat" and he brought me a whole box!! I have been sharing the delicious treats with my husband and kids. I posted a picture on my Instagram and a few people were curious about it...so I decided to share the link where you all can find it without having to go to Japan! You need to try it!

Happy Shopping!!

Please let me know your experience about this new trend!! Have you tried anything matcha? Do you like it? Leave a comment if you like.

Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Hi!!
I know we are not that close to Mother's Day yet, but it's already almost Easter and it will be shortly after that! Sunday May 14th to be exact.
I was surfing around the internet and I found this quote:

To all the mamas out there....don't you agree?? :)) It's true that some days I have barely enough energy to do the work of one...but most of the days this is the reality! I don't know about you, but I don't remember ever seen my mom just sitting down doing nothing. It must be in our veins, stuff needs to be done! For the love of our husbands and children... and our sanity. ;)
So, I decided to make a list of things that our Moms {or yourself, if you are a mom} would love as a present for Mother's Day. These are things that I would be happy to receive...

{a click on the images will take you to its link}

FOR THE COOKING MOM:

FOR THE TEA LOVER:

FOR THE COFFEE MOM:

FOR THE CRAFTY MOM:

FOR THE GLAM MOM:

As I said, these are just ideas... I had fun looking for different gifts. In the end, Mom would be probably happy even with just a hug and "I love you".

the Tea Queen

I'm so glad to see the many entries for LoveSparklePretty's Giveaway!! I hope many of you are happy to have found such a cute shop and are hoping to win the beautiful headband!! Keep crossing your fingers!!! ;)
These last days I've been spending my time with my parents who arrived last week from Italy to visit us. I'm always very happy to have some time to be with them, as we see each other not that often {every 2 to 3 years!!}. Time is flying of course, but I'm enjoying every minute.
I also wanted to tell you that today I've received some Happy Mail!! I had recently won a giveaway and today I received my present... which I love!!!! It's a tea-spoon rest... something for those who love tea like me... I really feel like the Queen of England now!! :)
It was handmade by the adorable and very talented artist Jacy Pulford. You can find more of her art in her SHOP. She also designed my new Etsy banner!!!

Isn't it lovely??

Well, I'm off to bed now. Have a great night or morning... wherever you are!!

Would you like a Cup of Tea?

On a chill afternoon like today what I need is a Cup of hot Tea. I like it with sugar and lemon.. I know.. different from the British tradition. They put sugar and milk and drink it at any hour of the day.. even if the famous "High Tea" is served between 5 pm and 7 pm. I have British blood flowing in my veins, that's why I like speaking about them and their traditions and I love their Literature and Poetry. They serve their tea accompanied with pastries, little sandwiches (such as cucumber or egg sandwiches) and cookies. My version today is a toasted slice of bread with spreaded Nutella. mmmh so delicious!

Well, I hope you have a great afternoon as well! And please, enjoy this beautiful Sonnet from William Shakespeare.. the number 116.. my favorite...♥
